Program Schedule for 2024

Arrive: Sunday, September 29, between 2-5 p.m.

  • If you’re flying, arrive at Spokane International by 2:00 p.m.
  • We will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a Welcome Dinner and Introduction Gathering.

Daily Schedule: You’ll receive a detailed agenda at check-in.

The daily itinerary starts early and runs late. There are learning sessions, small group discussions, fun activities, and adventure challenges. Each day is punctuated with amazing food and time for relaxed intimate discussions and personal renewal. The days are full, physical, and emotionally satisfying.

Depart: Saturday, October 5 by 11 a.m.

  • The last event of the week is a fun night at the Saloon with drinks, pool, karaoke, relaxing and unwinding.
  • Guests eat breakfast Saturday morning and head to the airport by 11 am, depending on flight schedules.
  • We suggest selecting a flight from Spokane that departs after 1 p.m.

TRAVEL

By Car: Red Horse Mountain Ranch is located at 11077 E Blue Lake Rd, Harrison, ID 83833. Read detailed directions here.

By Air: A small airport is located in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, 45 minutes from the Ranch.

You’ll find more options for flights and carriers to Spokane International Airport (GEG), which is a 1.5-2 hour drive from Red Horse.

Rides can be shared, and we will request your flight information to help facilitate ground transportation between the Ranch and airports. Uber/Lyft and car rentals are available.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Attire is casual, functional, and comfortable.
  • You’ll want to pack clothes and shoes appropriate for the various activities offered: horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, relaxing on the back deck, taking a dip in one of the hot tubs, and sleeping hard after full days.
  • The only out of the ordinary item required is slick-soled, heeled boots for riding. There are boots available for use at the Ranch.
  • Personal toiletries and medications.

All food, drinks, activities, equipment, lessons, resource and retreat curriculum materials are part of the package. Extras, like items from the gift shop, off-ranch fishing, golf, and premium wines, are available for purchase.

Accomodations

Red Horse Mountain Ranch features rustic, cozy rooms. Each is private with a queen bed, ensuite facilities, and a covered porch or deck with a beautiful view.

The full-service lodge offers complimentary wireless internet access, though you may opt to unplug completely.

Walking trails and outdoor seating areas invite you to relax and reflect as you immerse yourself in nature.

Dining

Enjoy conversation and laughs over chef-prepared meals that are healthy and delicious. Here’s how Red Horse describes their food:

“In the spirit of a great western dude ranch, Grandma’s recipes are alive and well, but we’ve added a little flair to bring out the flavors and the freshness of the West. At Red Horse Mountain Ranch the food is always fresh, with plenty of options for all. We strive to make everyone feel at home, catering to any dietary need, including vegan and gluten-free options.”

The team is very accommodating, so please let us know about any dietary restrictions and food preferences.
