My Word for 2025: Transformation

I once saw “I don’t have all the answers” as failure—until I realized it was the key to transformative leadership. Curious how?

“I don’t have all the answers.”

These words once felt like failure to me as a leader. Then I discovered something powerful:

When I admitted not knowing, it created space for others to step in.

Solutions emerged that were far better than anything I could have developed alone.

The era of the “smartest person in the room” style of leadership is over. Today’s most impactful leaders are those who demonstrate high emotional intelligence and genuinely care about the people they lead.

When I realized that I could be more impactful by empowering others, it fundamentally transformed my approach to leadership.

That’s why I’ve chosen “transformation” as my word for 2025.

What does transformation look like?

  • Creating environments where change naturally emerges
  • Developing leaders across all dimensions of life
  • Building trust-based cultures that drive success

How does true transformation happen?
